ECE 2 or ECE 3 Job Opportunity

Centre Éducatif les Étoiles Filantes Early Learning Centre located in Ponteix, SK is currently looking for ECE 2 or ECE 3 Childcare Worker.

We are seeking an enthusiastic person with a passion for working with children and a desire to enrich the children’s lives through play and learning. Our bilingual center (English & French) consists of 15 childcare spaces with children ranging in age from 6 months to school age.

The successful candidate should possess an Early Childhood Education 2 or ECE 3 certificate. Recognized First Aid & CPR are required, as well as a satisfactory criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.

The selected candidate will be responsible for
• Ensuring safety and wellbeing of children
• Assisting children with all care routines (diapering, toileting, hand hygiene, etc)
• Preparing and serving meals and snacks
• Planning and implementing structured activities, games, and crafts
• General cleaning of the classroom, play area, kitchen, and toys.

This position is part-time (10-25 hours a week) with potential for more hours. Wage is based on ECE Level and experience.
